This is second skin concealer that’s so discreet; you can't even tell it’s there. Plus a pro-tip from Dior’s creative director of makeup, Peter Philips

Finding the perfect concealer is a bit like dating on Tinder. You've got to kiss a lot of frogs before you get your prince — or in this case, road test a truckload of tubes before you discover your Holy Grail concealer. And this comes after the hurdle that is sussing out the perfect foundation to suit your skin type and undertone. Being a woman is no cakewalk (#thestruggleisreal). But here to make your life easier is Dior with its new Diorskin Forever Undercover concealer, the match made in heaven to the brand's iconic Forever foundation collection.

Created to blend seamlessly and adapt to the skin regardless of which Forever base you're rocking — whether you're pro-cushion or you're game to give the new Diorskin mousse-textured foundation a go — the concealer has an intuitive formula that provides instant camouflage for any imperfections. This ace capability comes from a high concentration of pigment particles paired with an elastic texture, meaning you get better coverage and longer wear without it looking heavy or settling into pores and fine lines. Everything from dark shadows and redness to small blood vessels are neutralised, and your Undercover won't budge once it's worked into the skin, staying even and matte over the course of the day. Even better, it comes with a precise applicator that swipes on the right amount of product wherever you need it, and you can simply blend it out with your fingertips to get the same flawless finish most folks need a beauty blender and two other brushes to achieve.

And the best way to wield this next-level, intelligent corrector (including an unexpected use for the Forever Undercover)? According to Peter Philips: "If the skin needs a lot of correction, for example if you have rosacea or acne, I would apply the concealer before foundation, then re-apply afterwards if necessary. With a wide range of shades and a matte finish, the concealer can be used to sculpt features, and to accentuate shadowy areas and hollows. For that, I choose a shade one or two tones lighter than the foundation."
