Clinique revisits our childhood with its Crayola collaboration
Colour out of the lines
For many of us, crayons were a symbol of our childhoods, bringing back memories of carefree days literally spent colouring out of the lines. For many others, Clinique is remembered fondly as the first skincare brand they've ever used, with its simple but effective three-step programme. Now, both come together in an adorable and rather inspired collaboration. Clinique and Crayola have worked together closely to create a limited edition collection of Chubby Stick Moisturising Lip Colour Balms. Each balm is packaged as a Crayola crayon, with each balm bearing the names of the original crayons themselves. The idea behind the collaboration is the intertwining of two worlds, with a sense of nostalgia being added to these beloved products.
This close colour-matching resulted in a set of Chubby Sticks ready to bring back the best of childhood memories for the grown-up set. Clinique is also offering a set of four minis, with a selection of limited-edition Chubby Sticks in Mauvelous, Pink Sherbet and Wild Strawberry. Tempted to buy these delightful lippies? You can look forward to a six colours from Red Violet to Melon to Tickle Me Pink, available in Singapore. And while the Chubby Sticks are actual makeup — make no mistake – they still provide that heartwarming dose of childlike charm.
$28 each. The set of four minis is $40. Crayola for Clinique Chubby Stick will be available at all Sephora stores, starting on 2 February.
