Watch: Chanel debuts a new Chance campaign starring four modern-day muses
Kicking off 2018 on a high is Chanel as they induct four young talents into the world of Chance with a brand new campaign. The stalwart scent of the House with a decidedly youthful verve, Chance and its three iterations have been re-interpreted by award-winning Canadian director Eva Michon in a series of playful mini-films that explore the different facets of the fragrance.
Set in the picturesque cityscape of Venice with fresh-faced actresses Angela Yuen, Selah Marley, Belen Chavanne, and Lily Newmark repping each element of Chanel Chance, the campaign peeks into each muse's narrative through a circular lens — a reflection of the fragrance's round flacon. Artistically shot like a visual invitation to take your chance, discover which Chance is your destiny by checking out all four mini-films below:
Represented by Selah Marley, the daughter of singer Lauryn Hill, the original Chance is an optimistic scent that blends pink pepper, jasmine and ambery patchouli.
CHANCE EAU TENDRE
Delicate like the soft accords of jasmine and smooth white musk notes, Hong Kong-born actress Angela Yuen embodies the fruity fragrance that is Chance Eau Tendre.
CHANCE EAU FRAÎCHE
Bursting with freshness from a blend of citron, jasmine and teak wood, Chance Eau Fraîche is Argentinian model and actress Belen Chavanne's choice.
CHANCE EAU VIVE
Lily Newmark displays a contagious vivacity that reflects the zesty freshness of Chance Eau Vive, which melds grapefruit and blood orange.
