1. Ariana Grande is launching a "Thank U, Next" beauty line.
Grande's company, GrandAri, Inc. has reportedly submitted papers requesting to produce "Thank U, Next" fragrances as well as body care products including lotions, gels, scrubs and mists. The chances of it shaping up to be a smash hit? High, if Arianators have anything to say about it.



2. A Fenty Beauty skincare line is underway.
The news broke when a sharp-eyed fan discovered that Fenty Skin is now officially listed as a trademark on the United States Patent and Trademark Office website. Under their specific trademarks: medicated and non-medicated skincare, soap, body care, personal care products and related accessories. Start saving up those coins, ladies.


3. Marvel fans are hoppin' mad over Brie Larson's full face of makeup in the Avengers: Endgame trailer.
The smoky eye and red lip combo donned by Larson in the latest Avengers: Endgame trailer is a drastic departure from her barefaced look in Captain Marvel, which, naturally, drew criticism as fans accused the directors of sexist intentions. Said directors have recently made a statement claiming that the hairstyle and makeup of each character is actually decided by the respective actor's hair and makeup team. Mystery solved, we guess?

4. Japanese multi-label beauty store Make Hero opens in Singapore.

Celebrities such as Fan Bing Bing and Gong Li are reportedly fans of the brand's offerings, including edible placenta skincare and snake DNA Botox masks. Head down to Jewel Changi Airport to experience the best (and weirdest) of Japanese beauty for yourself.



5. Kylie Cosmetics has released a mattifying setting spray.
The sealing spray claims to lock makeup in like no other, and is already selling fast since its release on 12 April. Rumours have been swirling about a foundation being next on the agenda, but since the brand has stayed mum, we'll just have to take it with a pinch of salt.



6. Sarah Hyland ditches her long, pin-straight tresses to let her natural hair shine.
The Modern Family star recently celebrated wrapping the series with an all-new shag' do that shows off her natural curls. And nope, it's definitely not a perm — "it's just my hair" the exasperated star tweets after fielding a flurry of tweets in the same vein. 


7. Eau Thermale Avène drops an anti-ageing collection tailored especially for sensitive skin.

The singer is the latest addition to a cast of age-inclusive ambassadors including Jane Fonda, Julianne Moore, and Susan Sarandon. If this is what the new age (get it?) of beauty looks like, we're all for it.
