1. Alicia Keys is all set to debut a skincare and lifestyle brand.

This self-proclaimed groundbreaking venture is said to go beyond beauty to provide consumers with cruelty-free, dermatologist-developed offerings for the mind, body, and home. In fact, each product will revolve around the main "keys to Soulcare" aka the "body, spirit, mind, and connection." An editorial site will be up by 29 September alongside a weekly newsletter detailing the upcoming product launches. As Instagram user, Kristebella316, so aptly puts it: "my soul is ready."

 

2. Lisa Rinna will be launching a beauty brand.

The actress, author, and Real Housewives cast member is best known for her signature pout — a fact which she aims to capitalize on with her new beauty line: Rinna Beauty. The first drop will comprise three lip kits, each of which includes a lipstick, gloss, and liner in neutral tones. She has revealed, however, that lippies would just be the "tip of the iceberg" and that Rinna Beauty will eventually become a full-on lifestyle label.

 

3. Issa Rae is the new face and co-owner of Sienna Naturals.

The clean haircare line will be undergoing a rebrand, where it will now develop products targeted for curly, coily, Afro-textured hair. In an interview with Allure, Rae reveals that the first drop includes a shampoo, leave-in conditioner, deep treatment, and a hair oil. All products can be bought in a set titled Salon In a Box on their site.

 

4. Shu Uemura debuts a One Piece range for their Holiday 2020 Collection.

Available 1 November, fans of the highly popular manga series can expect repackaged Shu cult-classics in the vein of the brand's Ultime8 Supreme Beauty Cleansing Oil, Petal Foundation Brush, and more. We say snap 'em up quick before they (inevitably) sell out.

 

5. Mario Dedivanovic reveals the full Makeup By Mario line-up.

Standout products include pigment-packed eyeshadow palettes, multi-purpose highlighters, and biodegradable, oil-free makeup wipes that allows for users to don and remove their face paint with ease. In an interview with Refinery29, he reveals that all Makeup By Mario products are based on his techniques and philosophies as a makeup artist. "I wanted these products to feel easy to use for artists and non-artists," he states. "It was important for me to bridge that gap." Scoop it up when the full range debuts come 1 October.

 

6. Supergoop! does CC Cream.

7. Euphoria gets an Emmy for most outstanding makeup.

To no one's surprise, the HBO hit scored an Emmy award for Outstanding Contemporary Makeup, making it the second award the show picked up for the night after their win for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics. Well-deserved, we say.

 

8. Gucci Beauty joins the Beauty Hall at BHG Bugis.

That's right, you'll now be able to pick up your Gucci Beauty faves at another location aside from Tangs. To commemorate the occasion, BHG will be releasing an exclusive beauty set containing the latest Poudre De Beauté Mat Naturel Beauty Powder.
