5 of our favourite makeup launches in March: Fenty Beauty, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Jeffree Star and more
March has come to a close, and with it, another 31 days of beauty-related purchases to make our bank accounts weep. To be fair, we're not entirely to blame this time (heh), considering the influx of exciting makeup launches from big name brands such as Fenty Beauty, Jeffree Star, and Huda Beauty. Bringing about bigger, better and more brilliant offerings than before, it should come as no surprise that we are starting the new month with (significantly) lighter pockets.
For those who missed out on the action — and are looking to spend some coin to start their month right — a recap of the makeup launches in March that had us throwing caution (and our credit cards) to the wind. Warning: the likelihood of spending an entire paycheck on these bad boys? High.
Fenty Beauty Body Lava
A luminous, post-holiday glow is guaranteed with just a few sweeps of Fenty Beauty's Body Lava. Making a triumphant comeback in March, this body luminizer now comes in an entirely new hue: Trophy Wife, a lustrous metallic gold slated to work on just about every skin tone. We're not sure what pushed us over the edge, the limited-edition label or its dewy, ultra-lit finish. Both? Both.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera Palette
Classic neutrals come together with fun, jewel tones in ABH's latest palette. Think muted browns and peachy pinks alongside metallic sky blue and aquamarine hues for a truly versatile palette that works for all occasions.
Huda Beauty Power Bullet Matte Lipstick
This rich, highly pigmented lipstick formula comes in a matte finish that adds a three-dimensional effect to puckers without drying them out. Available in eight unapologetic bold shades designed to work for every skin tone alive, it is highly likely that this would replace the go-to lippie in your makeup case. The chic, sleek gradient case is the cherry on top.
Kat Von D Cake Pencil Liner
We may have waxed lyrical about this Kat Von D pencil liner one too many times, but let's just say that the creamy, highly-pigmented formula deserves all the recognition it can get. The narrow tip and firm grip makes lining inner corners and waterlines a breeze, cementing its status as a liner suitable for both beginners and skilled veterans.
Jeffree Star Blue Bloods Palette
Picture 18 striking frosty blue, mint, and peach shadows that glide onto lids like a dream, all of which are enclosed in a gorgeous, pale blue case sure to make a welcome addition to just about any vanity. We're patting ourselves on the back for swooping in early — it is now sold out on the site, apparently — but those looking to get one of their own can rest easy knowing that restocks are coming in later this month. Let's hope the recent robbery at the Jeffree Star warehouse won't be a factor.
