David Beckham's new grooming line is almost here
David Beckham is known for a lot of things, from once wearing a sarong to his prowess wearing the number seven jersey for Manchester United. Now he's trailblazing in an entirely new way with his latest venture, a joint partnership with French beauty and grooming giant L'Oréal to produce his own range, House 99 by David Beckham. Beckham first started on his path by appearing in campaigns for now sister brand Biotherm Homme, but has since branched on to launch his own big thing.

From what we can see, the packaging and vibe of the brand looks like a mix between old school barbershop and modern day millennial. The House 99 account is currently dotted with pictures that show a trendy, barbershop atmosphere, while the packaging is all about fonts and a sleek, minimalist interplay between black and white. And while the brand's Instagram videos are pretty inclusive (including all races and facial hair preferences) it seems geared towards the younger set based on its initial marketing and even the product categories.
In an official statement, Beckham said, "I'm so excited to finally share House 99 with everyone around the world. For me, grooming is not only about how you look, but how you feel. It's about being comfortable, trying new things and shaping your next look. I created House 99 to give people the inspiration as well as the right products to experiment and feel completely at home doing so." According to Beckham, the 'house' in the name comes from wanting to create a sense of community among his target audience especially since users can look forward to tips from experts, while '99' is a lucky number of sorts — 1999 being the year that he married Victoria Beckham, had his first son Brooklyn and won the treble with Manchester United. From our quick browse on the brand's Instagram we spied haircare products including a Fixing Spray (below), Shaving Stick (above), as well as a beard oil, tattoo body moisturiser and a purifying beard scrub. Look as good as Beckham after using House 99? One can only wish.
