Go behind the scenes of the new Mr Burberry Indigo campaign
The air that I breathe
If you've been paying attention to the male scents from Burberry, you'll know that last year the brand released Mr Burberry Eau de Parfum, a warm and sensual scent with tarragon, cinammon and patchouli in the mix. Before that, in 2016 it released the Mr Burberry Eau de Toilette, a herbal, woody scent with touches of guaiac wood and vetiver. All three scents are centred around the various facets of the Burberry man, but the brand has gone with the same face, actor-musician Josh Whitehouse in all three campaigns. Check out behind the scenes images of the campaign above. To capture the crisp and invigorating juice of Eau de Toilette, Burberry took Whitehouse to the English coast where he was snapped by photographer Alasdair McLellan. But evoking wanderlust aside, the images certainly bring out the vibe of Mr Burberry Indigo.
The newest release is the freshest and most casual addition to the range. As with the other two scents, it was created in a collaboration between the house and perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. Capturing the fresh and energetic air of the coast, Kurkdjian used citrus and woody notes. Other touches include violet-leaf, spearmint oil, lemon and rosemary. Finally base notes of amber and oak moss add depth to the composition. If you love this new take on Mr Burberry, you''ll be glad to know that there are three, limited edition products that join the collection: A Face Moisturiser, All-In-One Shaving Cream, and Deodorant Spray. All three are infused (lightly) with the scent to complement your grooming routine.
