In the final installation of our series, we find out what makes the brand's super luxurious, upgraded new La Crème so special

As our #JourneyToRadiance with Clé de Peau Beauté comes to an end, the three women in our series, Yvette King, Victoria Cheng and Natasha Chiam get candid, revealing their skincare confessions and the craziest things they've done in the name of beauty. Click on the video above to find out about their secrets to radiance. One thing all three women have in common, is their love for the brand's luxurious, reformulated La Crème. This cult favourite from Clé de Peau Beauté is dubbed the king of creams, with good reason. Boasting a fine texture that melts effortlessly into the skin, this offers maximum comfort, as well as a host of anti-ageing benefits. After five years, the Japanese-French skincare company decided it was time to upgrade the formulas and textures of both its Basic skincare and La Crème — not an easy decision or task considering how well-loved by women around the world it is. The new range uses Platinum Golden Silk, a silk-derived element extracted from platinum golden cocoons that are specially cultivated for Clé de Peau Beauté in Northern Thailand. Also included in the formula, a Japanese pearl-derived element extracted from high-quality pearls and Theanine, an amino acid found in tea, that works on our skin's receptors, to block excess stress from reaching them.

As for La Crème, the new formula is literally about maximising radiance from within, by focusing not just on the skin surface, but the quality and density of the dermis. Intensive ingredients like inositol, rosemary extract and citrus unshiu peel extract work synergistically to create translucent, bright and well-moisturised skin. But don't take our word for it, hear from these stunning women who have used and loved the product, including the brand's spokesmodel Amanda Seyfried.

Says Amanda Seyfried, "My skin looks so much better after using La Crème. It's a lot of steps beyond what you can find on the market now, and I never leave home without it. I actually love how the new packaging is smaller and more compact." In fact Seyfried loves La Crème so much, she not only uses it as part of her nighttime ritual, but applies a thick layer every time she hops on a plane.

One of the biggest fans of La Crème, is host Yvette King who calls it, "the crème de la crème for a reason." King was impressed with all aspects of the cream, from the precious, faceted packaging that "looks like a night stand ornament" to the beautiful texture that "is hydrating yet not suffocating for the skin. I wake up in the morning and my skin is dewy."

To Victoria Cheng, La Crème is now a part of a pampering skincare ritual. "I really like to take my time luxuriating in the skincare process along with a layer of the ultimate indulgence, La Crème. I use it three to four times a week." After continued use of the product, Cheng has seen a noticeable difference in her skin quality which is now dewy, fresher and brighter.

Natasha Chiam uses La Crème when she needs that extra something. She says, "I use it as a booster, when my skin is dry or more tired than usual, when I am having an exhausting week or when I just felt like I needed extra pampering. I love the gorgeous packaging as well — it's so luxurious it makes you feel quite spoilt."
