#TopDrawerTuesday: Essentials for the F1 weekend
Hot in here
With the double trouble that is the F1 weekend and the haze, everyone's bound to be a little hot and bothered come the 18-20 Sep. But fret not. Buro has thought of pretty much everything you'll need to survive the race, from a rain jacket (in case cloud seeding goes awry) to top-notch binoculars (let's face it, the cars zoom by so fast you can't tell who's who).
Don't forget beauty essentials too, from an all-purpose sunscreen, to a refreshing facial mist and blotting tissues... you know, in case you bump into Adam Levine. Remember what they always say, "It's better to be prepared than to go holy s#@t!"
Binoculars
This sport binoculars from Nikon is compact, lightweight and waterproof.
Fresh juice
Haze giving you a sore throat? Load up on juice to give your body an antioxidant and vitamin boost and to quench your thirst.
Pollution-fighting sunscreen
Heading out early? Slather youself in good sunscreen that protects against both UV rays and the urban pollution caused by car fumes.
A rain jacket
If the weather turns be prepared with a jacket — that's hooded and waterproof — to keep you nice, dry and party-ready once the rain subsides.
Blotting paper
There's not much time or space for your entire makeup arsenal to be lugged along, but a few blotting papers will not be remiss.
Facial mist
Sure you may not have actually driven the 61 laps, but chances are you'll feel that way after battling the crowds. Spritz this on for an instant refresh, especially if you're feeling more wilting flower than blooming bud post-race.
Paper fan
You'll thank us later.
