3 summer florals for the perfume collectors out there

Smell the bouquet

Are you a floral perfume person through and through? Here are the new interpretations of the most iconic flowery fragrances you’ll want a whiff of

Slap the words 'limited edition' on anything and heads will turn. Just look at Supreme and many a hyped collab in the fashion world. Regrettably, us beauty peeps are equally guilty as charged (how can we not go crazy over all that pretty festive makeup? How?). More often than not, this affliction/obsession also extends to our fragrances. And if you're the kind of gal who loves rounding out her perfume stash with all the different renditions of a classic, here are three reimagined floral juices you might want to add to your collection:

Expressing the floral aspect quite literally, Ferragamo's iconic Signorina now wears her flowers on her sleeve as a tribute to the house's spring/summer fashion collection. Likewise, what's inside reflects the outside with jasmine and cherry blossom at the heart of the fragrance, topped by fruity openers of nashi pear sorbet and pomegranate for a sparkling, feminine scent.

Hands up if Flower by Kenzo was your mainstay scent in the mid-noughties. Well, you can revisit those glory days with the brand new eau de toilette that wears like a poppy field blooming under the sun. Reminiscent of the original juice, the new blend takes the classic cult scent and enlivens it with blood mandarin, red frangipani flowers and white musk to give it a warmer, addictive edge. The all-red flacon is pretty eye-catching to boot.

Created by perfumer duo Sophie Labbé and Dominique Ropion, the new Shine edition takes on a flamboyant character you probably wouldn't expect from the ever-ethereal Elie Saab. Described by its creators as a "fragrance with a unique balance between beauty, addiction and modernity", ylang ylang, jasmine and iris anchor the scent while gourmand notes of pistachio, pineapple and bitter almond surround the white flowers with an element of lusciousness. Meant to emphasise the luminous magnetism of a woman's charm, the juice does just that thanks to a new ingredient, the Ormond flower, which brings a delicious zest to the dry down.
