3 exclusive beauty products you need to collect right now
Wallets at the ready
No matter how many times we tell ourselves over and over again that we definitely do not need that certain makeup collection stamped with beautiful peach blossoms or that lipstick encased in red and decorated with gold flowers, we end up caving in because let's face it, gorgeous packaging is everything. From a facial cleanser to an eyeshadow palette, here are some essential products that you can add to your vanity table to jazz it up a little and admire, just because.
1. Fresh — Soy Face Cleanser
This cult-favourite item from the Boston-born brand is getting a total makeover to celebrate almost 20 years since the Soy Face Cleanser was launched to the masses. Collaborating with New York City-based illustrator Blair Breitenstein, she did her own take on the product's original iconic ‘Soy Girl’ with two ‘Soy Girls’, using her signature watercolour and marker style. Fans of the cleanser can get a bang for their buck too, as this version comes in a 200ml jumbo size, continuing to calm and provide healthy skin with amino acid-rich soy proteins, rosewater, calming cucumber extract aids and borage seed oil.
The limited edition Soy Face Cleanser is now available at Sephora and at Fresh boutiques in June. It is priced at $69.
2. Sisley — Ecological Compound Limited Edition
Revamping for the first time since 1980, Polish artist Elzbieta Radziwill has designed the glass bottle with flowers and butterflies of red and pink hues. Its famous unchanged lightweight formula contains a variety of plants such as centella asiatica, ginseng, rosemary, hops and horsetail to protect the skin from external aggressors while leaving it supple and toned. The winning factor? Men can also use this product as an aftershave, which still remains a hot favourite for them thanks to the cream's matte and moisturising properties.
Sisley's Ecological Compound Limited Edition will be available in mid-June, and retails for $275.
3. Chantecaille — 20 Year Anniversary Eye Palette
Anniversaries for makeup brands call for something special, and this French brand has got its fans covered. Following Chantecaille's 20th anniversary, they have launched an eyeshadow palette with four neutral shades housed in a gold palette. Each eyeshadow pan is stamped with either a lion or an elephant to represent two conservation efforts that founder Sylvie Chantecaille supports, which are The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and The Lion Guardians. Scribbled across the front of the palette is also Sylvie's signature.
The Chantecaille 20 Year Anniversary Eye Palette retails for $143.40.
