Dior's bestselling J'Adore has a new juice
Dior takes its signature J'Adore Eau de Toilette up a notch, with a new reimagining by perfumer François Demachy

If you're lucky enough to be on the Singapore red carpet for The Hunstman:Winter's War tonight, you may just catch a glimpse of actress Charlize Theron. The intimidatingly beautiful, statuesque Oscar-winner — who has been the face of Dior fragrances and skincare since 2004 — is still drop dead gorgeous today. Like this ageless beauty, J'Adore has had a seemingly charmed trajectory, as one of the best-selling fragrance franchises for the brand.

But even the most beautiful things need a revamp now and then, and the brand's in-house perfumer François Demachy has breathed new life or, as the brand puts it, given "a new smile" to the fragrance. The new facet in the juice is neroli from Vallauris — and no, this is not a fictitious region from Game of Thrones, but located in southeastern France.

This new ingredient gives the already efferverscent composition a different twist. Demachy wanted to highlight the luminous aspects of the scent and highlight its contrasts, bringing a touch of blood orange essence into the creation. The result? A scent that sparkles, shimmies and glows as incandescently as one of Theron's gold, couture gowns. And speaking of glowing, check out this candid and sassy interview with the unfairly beautiful Theron below:
