This week-long pop-up is set to shake up the beauty scene

There's a cool new café in town, but you can't pay for your food and drink there. Enter the Chanel Coco Café, a beauty pop-up where makeup, skincare and fragrance can be savoured over a complimentary drink or dessert. Consider it a one-stop shop for all things beauty — makeup drawers and mirrors flank the sides of the rectangular space, while perfumes frame the walls and nail polishes sit prettily on counters. Themed like a Parisian café, you'll find plush diner-style booths to slide into, as well as high-top counters and display fridges.

Open for a limited time only, Coco Café is designed to be a respite from the hustle and bustle of life. Take a beauty time-out and spend an afternoon indulging in the stylish corners that Chanel has thoughtfully curated. Get a mini makeover while sipping on a coffee at the Colour Bar — you'll also get to preview the new cruise makeup collection — or pamper yourself with a luxurious hand massage at the Bubble Counter, based around the Hydra Beauty range.

Drinks are offered only to those who register at the mini-site, and apart from hot coffees, Chanel has also crafted four juices inspired by the fruity and floral notes of the Chance fragrances — Chance, Chance Eau Fraiche, Chance Eau Tendre and Chance Eau Vive. To sweeten the entire experience, Chanel has also created a beauty bubble tea, a refreshing concoction of coconut water, tangy lemon and lime and lychee popping boba pearls.

Don't leave just yet — there's also a nail bar to prettify your fingers, a beauty photo booth to capture memories and a classy dessert lounge, exclusively for those who have made a purchase at Coco Café. Chanel's café concept is clever and bang-on remarkable, and it certainly helps that it is also highly instagrammable. We only have one piece of advice: Reserve a spot quickly, or head down as early as you can.

Chanel Coco Café is located at Visual Arts Centre, Dhoby Ghaut Green. Open to public from 8 to 16 April, from 11am to 8pm daily. Please register here for priority entry and a complimentary drink. Walk-ins are also welcome.
