Taking a cue from the roaring twenties when secret watches were in vogue, Vacheron Constantin brings elegance to discretion with the Heure Discrète timepiece. As part of the new introductions to the Heures Créatives collection by the distinguished watchmaker, it is certainly a conversation starter with a unique design.

Resembling that of a traditional fan — an accessory that many treasured in the age-old days — the timepiece is a reinterpretation of a pendant that was first introduced by the house in 1919. Carved out of 18-carat white gold, the fan was created to resemble guipure lace and is decorated with no less than 286 diamonds.

Hidden behind the design of the fan, is a 15mm white mother-of-pearl face and mechanical winding movement that boasts a 40-hour power reserve. Don the Heure Discrète with it's black satin strap that's more than classy, or add more sparkle to your wrist with the version that has three undulating white gold ribbons. It's set with nearly 11-carats worth of diamonds and has a brilliant finish with an 18-carat white gold jewellery clasp. Both versions of the timepiece feature a cross-shaped half Maltese that is set with 20 round cut diamonds.
