Giddy up with three new models from the Longines Equestrian collection
With a heritage that traces alongside the equestrian world and a longstanding passion for the sport, it was inevitable that Longines would craft a collection in its likeness, dedicated to the noble creatures as much as their riders. Championing the equestriennes, the Swiss watch manufacture presents three new feminine timepieces that take inspiration from the show bridle of the only horse breed hailing from Switzerland, the Franches-Montagnes — lauding the graceful attributes that celebrate the elegant vision of a rider and her mount in motion.
Shaped after the rectangular buckle that secures the bridle, the new Equestrian wristwatches cut a classic silhouette in polished steel cases measuring 22mm x 32mm, housing a Swiss quartz movement with each model embellished in a distinct façade. From dials and indexes to straps and colour, the fresh additions feature everything from diamond-set bezels, roman numerals and flinqué or damier textured watch faces. These sophisticated details are exemplary of Longines' watchmaking prowess and elevates the collection to the heights of sleek femininity, hinted at with equestrian elements woven into each timepiece.
A sublime haute horlogerie symbol of the equestrian world, the new additions to the Equestrian collection echo refinement and passion to the tune of a horse's elegant gait — a fusion of time and showmanship beating in perfect harmony.
The new Equestrian collection timepieces are available at Longines boutiques.
