F1-inspired timepiece: Tag Heuer's Red Bull Racing Team
Late last year, Tag Heuer was appointed as the Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of the Formula 1 Red Bull Racing team. It was made official with the release of their 2016 car which was named after the watch manufacturer — marking it the first time a watchmaker has ever been specified in the official title of an F1 team. In celebration of its first year milestone of partnership with one of the most unconventional teams in Formula 1, the avant-garde watchmaker unveiled the Tag Heuer Formula 1 Red Bull Racing Team watch at the glamorous Monaco F1 Grand Prix.
Alluding to the racing mindset, the horological masterpiece's steel chronograph bears the team's signature midnight blue and red, adorned with a bezel that sports a matte blue aluminium tachymeter scale. With a 43-millimetre sapphire crystal case framing the blue dial, this audacious piece truly reflects the DNA of both revolutionary partners.
This model is available for you to choose from two variations — catering to those who are boldly adventurous and those who has a penchant for the timeless classics. With a strap made from technical textile embedded with racing car seat belt-inspired red stitching, this version is a match made in horology heaven with the former individuals. The latter will find themselves in favour of the stainless steel bracelet.
Instilled with a newfangled take on motorsport, any of these two daring Tag Heuer sensations on your wrist will propel your look to a whole new level of sporty cool.
