Presented earlier this month at the Salón Internacional Alta Relojería in Mexico City, Richard Mille now counts the RM 63-02 World Timer Automatic watch in its range of International watches. Like the World Timer from two years before, this latest timepiece boasts an easy to use multi-time-zone mechanism designed for frequent travellers. Moving easily between the zones of London, Paris, New York and Dubai, there is little reason for one to be lost even if you are half way across the world.
The desired time zone can be selected with the help of the rotating bezel and a function selector to navigate between winding, time-setting and neutral positions. Simply move the bezel that is ball-bearing mounted and the hours of each city as well as day and night are clearly distinguished. In vertically satin-brushed and polished grade-5 titanium is considered a masterpiece from the watch manufacturer. Sitting at the 12 o'clock position is an oversized date display that is powered by two skeletonised discs.
With a 50-hour power reserve and hand-crafted interior, the timepiece is an example of how you can be in 24 places at once. An easy to use function and a sleek finish, gives the RM 63-02 a leg up in the world of world timers.
