"Volez, Voguez, Voyagez, avec les valises Louis Vuitton", is the famed line from the brand's luggage advertising campaign from the mid-1960s. Translated, it reads: Fly, sail and travel with Louis Vuitton suitcases.

The triple V has previously graced the house's bags, where the Speedy and Neverfull both took on the logo in magenta. But for the very first time, the heritage insignia has been adopted for the timepieces, and the Tambour VVV models are the latest addition to the brand's existing Tambour collection.

The GMT model sees the triple V in lacquered saffron yellow and polished metal indicating the hour of the second time zone, while it keeps the minutes on the Chronograph. Both watches have stainless steel cases that sit snugly between a grey calf leather bracelet with a hand-crafted patina — the logo makes its second appearance on the strap. The two models have a power reserve of 42 hours, and are casual additions for the horology buff with a sense of wanderlust and appreciation for Louis Vuitton's iconic history.
