Joining the Historiques collection by Swiss manufacture Vacheron Constantin, is the chronograph Cornes de vache 1955. Reinterpreting the original timepiece that had been produced after World War II, the new design is an exclusive collection that celebrates the excellence of Vacheron Constantin.
With a round platinum case measuring 38.5mm, it features the Vacheron Constantin signature lugs that the timepiece is named after. Providing stylistic identity, the delicately polished 'cow-horn' lugs symbolise the ancestral art of the watch-making Maison.
While the original in 1955 featured a 35mm round case in 18 carat yellow gold, the re-interpreted design uses a mix of platinum and 18 carat white gold and is fixed with a case and case-back made of transparent sapphire crystal.
Prized by watch connoisseurs around the world, the exclusive tribute watch is fitted with hand-stitched alligator leather from Mississippi, with large square scales in dark blue. Completing the design of the timepiece is the polished half Maltese cross-shaped buckle in platinum.
