Made to benefit the amfAR, the jewellery house has designed a one-of-a-kind diamond necklace
Inspired by Elizabeth Taylor's magnificent Taylor-Burton diamond — a 68-carat, pear-shaped stunner, the storied jewellery house Harry Winston has commissioned and created a bespoke diamond necklace for the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS 22 Gala.
The diamond necklace will be auctioned off at the gala dinner on 21 May 2015, with the proceeds going towards the charity dedicated to AIDS research. This is the second event organised by Harry Winston after it announced its partnership with amfAR and will be held at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc. This partnership will see the jewellery house sponsor the foundation's 27 gala events taking place across the globe. The gala events consistently draw Hollywood's brightest stars and the auction is expected to be attended by the likes of George Clooney, Gwyneth Paltrow and Cindy Crawford.
