"We think that life is too serious, so we try to sprinkle a little magic into peoples' lives through the playful stories in our jewellery," founder and designer of Carrie K., Carolyn Kan, elucidated in taking Alice and her peculiar Wonderland gang as muses. The homegrown artisan label, which has always had a penchant for the witty and whimsical, presents two jewellery capsule collections named Key Hole and Time. A turning point for the label as it joins in the honorary ranks of Disney fashion collaborators such as Valentino, Christian Louboutin and Comme des Garçons.

Come July, be Wonderland-ready — or high tea party-fitting at the least — when the inventive range hits the stores and you can purchase your picks from either Key Hole's pieces, which as the name suggests, take the shape of key holes as its source of inspiration; or Time's Alice-focused gems. The two collections are to feature fifteen styles including highlights such as the Pendulum and Chronosphere earrings, a two-way-wearing choker, a pendant watch piece, a Gear lariat and Drink Me straws equipped with semiprecious gems in sterling silver or plated with 14K gold. Carrie K.'s Key Hole and Time collections will be available for web pre-order on 25 June and sold on 1 July at the Carrie K. Atelier, Takashimaya and Carrie K's online store.
