Atelier Swarovski launches its first fine jewellery collection
#FirstClassFriday

It might come as a shocker that Swarovski has just launched its first fine jewellery collection, what with everyone associating the name with extravagance since the beginning of time. Not to mention the brand's cinematic presence that goes back decades, including the iconic ruby slippers Dorothy clicked her heels in, the glittering accessories worn by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's, and more recently, the Swarovski-embellished yellow gown for Emma Watson's Belle in the live action remake of Beauty and the Beast.
Your 9am mind blown revelation aside, the Fine Jewellery collection by Atelier Swarovski is more than just a shiny collection of baubles. It is innovative conscious luxury, using state-of-the-art grown diamonds handcrafted into stunning Art Deco pieces — which had its maiden red carpet inauguration during the Cannes Film Festival, worn by the likes of Naomi Harris, Sienna Miller and model Daria Strokous. And in spite of its pro-eco tag, the Swarovski Created Diamonds are 100 per cent carbon, holding its own against mined diamonds with the same hardness and brilliance. Cut and set into necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings to surround verdant emerald stones, the Art Deco themed Atelier Swarovski Fine Jewellery collection — one of three key leitmotif creations for the environmentally conscious series — is exclusive to the red carpet, though retail delineations will hit stores in the following year. Now this is the landmark luxury of tomorrow even your inner diva will approve of.
