The Project Z identity: Harry Winston launches the Project Z10
Sleek and sporty watches are increasingly the timepieces of choice when it comes to rugged gents (or enthusiasts of street style) and Project Z by Harry Winston checks all the requirements for cutting-edge technical watches that are both innovative and gritty.
Now in its 10th edition, the Z10 is the latest in the lineup, crafted with next-generation materials using an alloy exclusive to Harry Winston. Ultra light, comfortable and hardy, Zalium forms the timepiece's 42.2mm exterior, with the entirety of the case carved from a single block of this unique material. An evolution of the house's watchmaking prowess, the Z10 displays a progressively mechanical design with a skeleton structure inspired by the Manhattan Bridge that zigzags across an openworked dial, appearing like deep blue aluminium ladders juxtaposed against a silvery-gray canvas of gears and components that is the HW3305 calibre.
With a double retrograde movement alongside the hours and minutes located off-centre in a black grid encircled by an index ring, the openworked dial tracks the days of the week on the right steel arch and is counterbalanced on the left with a 30-seconds indicator. High-impact precision coupled with everyday versatility and a striking visual, the Harry Winston Project Z10 is a study in pure urbane refinement meant for those who seek the avant-garde.
The Project Z10 is available at Harry Winston boutiques. Limited edition of 300 pieces.
