Bang & Olufsen isn't one to rush to market with a new product every other month. Instead, they keep you waiting, anticipating, for their next work of art. Remember the rose gold beauties from their 90th anniversary collection? It's hard not to — they were featured on every design magazine out there.

#TechThursday: A portable speaker with 24 hours of playtime? Yes, it exists.

This time around, they've jumped on the portable speaker bandwagon. With the help of award-winning designer Cecilie Manz, Bang & Olufsen has rolled out a small but mighty bluetooth speaker that can play on for 24 hours.

Dubbed the Beoplay A1, the speaker comes in the form of a contoured aluminium dome. With no protruding buttons or legs in the way, the seamless surface of the device sits comfortably in every nook and cranny, and even comes with a soft leather strap so you can hang it up against the wall or attach it to your rucksack.
