Could this be Kenneth Cole's answer to the Apple Watch?
The world of wearable tech just keeps growing. From fitness trackers to rings that glow each time a text message arrives on your phone, it seems the modern man can hardly divorce himself from technology.
While the Apple Watch might be the talk of the town, Kenneth Cole Connect — the latest smartwatch from Kenneth Cole — gives tech sceptics a chance to experiment with a smartwatch without flushing their bank account. At $245, the Kenneth Cole Connect barely scrapes the half-price mark of Apple's entry-level smartwatch (which goes for $518).
As with the Apple Watch, Kenneth Cole Connect works in tandem with your phone. Leveraging on bluetooth technology, the watch notifies you each time a new message or email arrives, and reminds you about upcoming events or meetings on your calendar. You can also control your playlist from your wrist and activate the shutter on your phone's camera (useful for selfies or wefies). As far as smartwatches go, it's a fairly basic device that comes in a black silicone strap with rubberised leather inserts, but given its modest price point, no one's complaining.
