As the IFA 2015 draws near, all eyes are upon the major electronic manufacturers as they gear up for the some of their biggest launches of the year. LG fans who have been left wanting by the brand's first generation G Pad tablet will now have a bigger, better device to look forward to when the G Pad II 10.1 tablet is unveiled at next month's IFA tech show in Berlin.
LG pre-announced today that the 8-inch screen of the first generation G Pad will be replaced by a newer model featuring a 10.1-inch display framed by one of the slimmest bezels on the market. The WUXGA (1920 x 1200) display isn't just made for browsing the web, but is well placed to stream multimedia content for a fully immersive experience. Besides packing in a powerful 2.26GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, the nifty tablet also boasts a long-lasting 7,400mAh battery — the largest in its class. Voracious readers will welcome the tablet's Reader Mode, which scales back the blue light of the display backlight to deliver a more comfortable reading experience.
The LG G Pad II 10.1 tablet will be on display at the IFA 2015 from 4 - 9 September. The model will be available in key markets across North America, Europe, and Asia.
