Experience a Guinness World Record Christmas showcase formed by 824,961 light bulbs
When Universal Studios Singapore does Christmas, they truly go the whole nine yards. This year, their special Christmas showcase, dubbed the 'Universal Journey', sees a mind-boggling sum of 824,961 light bulbs illuminating an experiential festive light display like none other. It is no wonder this labour of love (which took two months to put together) has gone down in the annals of history, making its mark in the Guinness World Records as the largest light bulb display in an indoor venue.
With eight thematic zones to explore, you might encounter towering trees in the Enchanted Pine Forest before meandering through the Land of Great Gifts — which sees larger-than-life Christmas presents dressing the space. More illuminating surprises are to be found at the fantastical Haven of the Pixies, while the quaint European town of Herald's Square comes to life with a constellation of twinkling, glowing lights.
Universal Studios Singapore's Universal Journey is utterly whimsical and forms the perfect glittering backdrop for Christmas photos that'll stand out beyond the usual festive light-up along Orchard Road. We reckon kids will spend hours marvelling at this Christmas wonderland, and for those who are young at heart — it'll help you to feel like a child all over again. Talk about making Christmas merry again.
