Laurent's Cafe, the casual offshoot of Laurent Bernard Chocolatier, might have opened its doors recently at Robinsons The Heeren, but there is already a flurry of activity happening in the space. Come Thursday, the cafe will play host to a workshop that pulls together the yin and yang of chocolate and cognac, an age-old pairing that's, quite simply, irresistable. The workshop, running as part of Rémy Martin's inaugural Cognac Appreciation Week, is one that both chocolate and cognac lovers can look forward to.
And who better to lead the workshop than monsieur Laurent Bernard himself? The French chocolatier helming the eponymous chocolate boutique brings to the table more than 20 years of culinary experience, and will lead your taste buds through unexpected taste memories born from a marriage of fine Laurent Bernard chocolate and Rémy Martin cognac.
