R.S.V.P. scoops Best Launch award at the inaugural SERMO Globes
Top in class
With so many websites launching on the Internet every other day, it's no mean feat for a new website to cut through the noise and rise to a prominent position in the digital media landscape. However, the folks at R.S.V.P. PR & Lifestyle Communication (R.S.V.P.) have proven that it can certainly be done — and in under five months at that. Case in point: Their recent launch campaign for Buro 24/7 Singapore, which saw the public relations and communications agency sweeping the Best Launch award at the inaugural 2015 SERMO Globes awards.
The SERMO Globes awards was launched by SERMO, a leading global lifestyle and luxury communications network. Entries for the awards were judged on their depth of insight, creativity, executional excellence, and achievement of key performance indicators.
Taking a multipronged approach comprising marketing promotions, celebrity engagement, and strategic partnerships within the online and offline space, R.S.V.P. managed to ramp up awareness of Buro 24/7 Singapore across various digital channels while engaging the site's target audience via offline events, most notably a launch event which saw 188 VIPs, advertisers, influencers, and readers in attendance.
Speaking about R.S.V.P.'s win, Tanya Hughes, President of SERMO Communications, said: "R.S.V.P.'s work on the launch of the ground-breaking, Singapore based news and culture site, Buro 24/7, was a clear winner of the Best Launch award in the first SERMO Globes. Competing against entries from 13 partner agencies around the world, R.S.V.P.'s creativity, connections and attention to detail stood out as the best of the best."
