Lobsters might be low on supply at the moment but that isn't stopping the good folk at Parkroyal on Pickering from running a lobster buffet from 1 to 17 June 2015. Held in conjunction with Singapore's 50th year of independence, the buffet sees Executive Chef Vijay cooking up the Maine lobster in 11 different ways: tossed in squid ink tagliatelle, slow-cooked in Spanish paella, grilled with garlic and thyme, and more. The ubiquitous chili crab makes its way into the line-up as well, featuring what else but lobster in its place. Other Asian leaning interpretations of the crustacean include wok-fried black pepper lobster with curry leaves and nonya lobster laksa.
A complimentary flow of Tiger beer and local drinks such as cincau (grass jelly), ma ti shui (water chestnut), and tau huay shui (soya milk) accompany the spread.
The promotion runs daily from 1 - 17 June 2015 and is available during dinner at $98++ per person. For more information, visit Parkroyal on Pickering's website.
