Perfectionists, rejoice. It is now possible to save your posts as drafts and come back to it at a later time without losing your captions, photo edits, and slew of hashtags. Instagram's latest draft feature has been a long time coming, especially for those who can't bear to hit share until a photo is filtered to perfection.
Unlike its rival Snapchat, which still runs on a currency of immediacy, Instagram's latest string of updates— including the ability to upload photos and videos taken within the past 24 hours to Instagram Stories—seem to make it easier for those who prefer to think twice before publishing.
To access the draft feature, simply hit the back arrow on the top-left screen when you're in editing mode. The option to "Save Draft" or "Discard" your photo will appear. To pull up your draft posts, simply head to the content library and look under the "Draft" tab.
