The kitchen at Jiak Chuan Street’s renowned tapas bar is about to get crowded — in a good way

Anyone would know that a head chef's hands are extremely vital to his or her craft. A single pair is deft enough to cook up a storm in the kitchen, so imagine what could possibly transpire with an extra pair? In an exclusive two-night only collaboration titled 'Four Hands', Spanish tapas bar Esquina is joining forces with Chef-Owner Àlvar Ayuso of the critically acclaimed Alvart Restaurant in Barcelona. Much to the delight of our roaring tummies, the formidable duo will serve up their varying culinary expertise — the common denominator being their Español heritage.

The 11-course spread sees Esquina's Chef Carlos Montobbio's experimental modern-day Spanish cuisine marrying Chef Àlvar's unique French influence on traditional Catalan fare. Lust over tantalising appetisers like the Sea Urchin dish topped with codium seaweed and baby radish, the beautiful Sage Gnocchi, and finish with the refreshing Picked Blueberries and Spanish Strawberries.
