Arsenal fans had good reason to celebrate last night when their heroes took home the Barclays Asia Trophy after defeating Everton with a score of 3-1. A crowd of more than 52,000 turned up at the National Stadium to watch the adrenaline-charged finale, one that saw Arsenal's new signing Petr Cech taking to the field.

Gooners who failed to secure a ticket to Saturday night's match had plenty of opportunities to get up close and personal with their favourite players. Earlier in the week, the team held an open training session prior to their match on Wednesday against the Singapore Select XI team (which saw Arsenal swinging through with a 4-0 victory). On Friday, an Emirates Soccer Clinic saw the players sparring with young soccer hopefuls, while a fans party at the Shangri-La Hotel gave Gooners the chance to interact with the team as they took some time off the pitch.
