Dalmore Affinity

What it is: There's only one bottle of this rare elixir sitting in a crystal decanter and you'll find it on display from now till 16 August at Hotel Michael in Resorts World Sentosa. With Dalmore's renowned master distiller Richard Paterson lending his nose to the creation of this one-off bottling, expect to find a complex palate of caramel orange, dark chocolate, liquorice, and Black Forest fruits in each drop of this highland single malt scotch whisky.

The rare 50-year-old whisky gleans its seductive hues from maturing for 48 years in an American white oak bourbon cask before further steeping in a 30-year-old oloroso sherry butt cask for another two and a half years. The intricate silver works on the decanter were handcrafted by Hamilton & Inches, the very same craftsmen who attend to the Royal Family. Talk about receiving the royal treatment.
