Mark your calendar for Open Farm Community's first-ever Social Market
Colour your weekend with some green endeavours

When Open Farm Community moved into its Dempsey Hill digs, Founder of Spa Esprit Group Cynthia Chua hinted that a restuarant — headed by Chef Ryan Clift, no less — wasn't the only thing that would ground this space. The herb garden, well tended to by the green thumbs behind Edible Garden City, continues to flourish, providing the restaurant and bar with soil-to-table produce that's the epitome of all things fresh.

But the best, it seems, is yet to come. Come 28 November, Open Farm Community will hold its first-ever social market, a two-day event pulling together purveyors of fresh produce and homemade goodness. Expect to find locally-inspired homemade jams from Momoco, jars of honey, and even house plants for those looking to spruce up the home.

Vegan-friendly acai bowls from Selva Foods

There's plenty of grub to chew on, too. Choose from Casse-Croute's cold cuts, Selva Foods' vegan-friendly acai bowls, and sinful treats from roving food truck Kerbside Gourmet.

Those looking to get their blood pumping can also look forward to outdoor yoga and spin cycling classes courtesy of Crucycle.

28 and 29 November. Open Farm Community. 130E Minden Road. Tel: 6471 0306
