Trust Diane von Furstenberg to make her little wrap dress as ubiquitous as the Little Black Dress. It has been over four decades since the iconic dress made its debut and shows no sign of slipping away to the fashion archives. Von Furstenberg isn't shy to extol the virtues of this ipless dress, a garment you can slip on quietly when you want to slink out on a sleeping man. A bold statement indeed, one way ahead of its time. It's no surprise women have embraced the wrap dress for what it stands for — freedom, movement, and a whole lot of confidence.
From now till 16th July, Diane von Furstenberg will make her presence felt in the historic home of The Temple House in Chengdu. This beautifully restored heritage property will give guests a chance to unwind with an afternoon tea set that draws its inspiration from Diane von Furstenberg's iconic wrap dresses. Expect to nibble on macarons featuring classic DVF patterns, strawberry profiteroles, and parmesan tarts studded with caviar for just that welcome touch of luxe.
To complement the sweet offerings at The Temple Cafe, The Temple House's Mi Xun Spa will roll out two special DVF treatments: one to rejuvenate the skin, and another to energise and sooth the body.
