Ever since food delivery services such as Deliveroo and UberEATS came onto the scene, my wallet has taken a big hit. Beef bulgogi from DoSiRak? Add to cart. Pulled-pork burgers from Burnt Ends? Yep, I'll have two of that.

On a recent muggy afternoon, Joe Schofield, head bartender of Tippling Club, scaled three flights of stairs with ice blocks in tow, and turned our meeting table into a makeshift bar. He brought with him three glass jars, each filled with a classic cocktail from Tippling Club. He slips a block of hand-cut ice into the Negroni, shakes it up good, and hands it over to me. The no-frills cocktail lacks all the visual flourishes you'll typically find with cocktails served at the bar itself, but the well-measured pour of vermouth, gin, and campari made the potent drink perfection in itself. The proof was truly in the pudding, or in this case, jar.

It's not everyday you'll find a bartender at your door. But getting cocktails delivered straight to you is no longer a pipe dream. Now that Tippling Club's teamed up with Deliveroo, a well-crafted Old Fashioned, Daiquiri, or even a Martini is just a mere tap away.
