Cape Town is abuzz with activity today as the finals of the Diageo World Class competition pulls together bartenders from the world over for the ultimate shake-down. The last time we spoke to Steve Leong, the Diageo World Class SEA Bartender of the Year, he let us in on the recipe for his locally inflected cocktail featuring the ubiquitous Singaporean hawker favourite — chicken rice. In this video interview, journalist and #FriendofBuro Victoria Cheng gets Leong himself to show us how it's done and finds out how he's been preparing for the competition as he flies the flag high for Singapore in Cape Town.
