#BuroLive Episode 24: How to serve wine like a pro
Vino hour is here
Patience is truly a virtue when it comes to enjoying a bottle of wine. Yes, you can simply reach for a bottle, uncork it, and declare the start of Happy Hour. However, chilling the wine to the right temperature, giving it time to breathe in a decanter, and selecting the appropriate wine glass to serve it in can make all the difference in the final pour. In this episode of #BuroLive, Fabian Schenk, restaurant manager at the Tippling Club, walks us through a few simple tricks you can execute at home. Chin chin!
Thirsty? Here're the wines we enjoyed
Penfolds Max's Chardonnay 2015
Tasting notes: White stone fruits on the nose and flavours of citrus, white nectarine, and almond meal on the palate.
Penfolds Max's Cabernet Sauvignon 2015
Tasting notes: Red currants and cranberries on the nose and melange of berries, vanilla chai, and cedar oak on the palate. Fine silky tannins.
Penfolds Max's Shiraz 2015
Tasting notes: On the palate, notes of red berries, cherries, and hint of oak give way to fine, powdery tannins. On the nose, a bouquet of red fruits and Christmas spices lead the way.
All Penfolds wines featured on this episode are available from Cold Storage outlets in Great World City, Plaza Singapura, Vivo City, Parkway Parade, and Kallang Leisure.
