Patience is truly a virtue when it comes to enjoying a bottle of wine. Yes, you can simply reach for a bottle, uncork it, and declare the start of Happy Hour. However, chilling the wine to the right temperature, giving it time to breathe in a decanter, and selecting the appropriate wine glass to serve it in can make all the difference in the final pour. Penfolds Max's Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Tasting notes: Red currants and cranberries on the nose and melange of berries, vanilla chai, and cedar oak on the palate. Fine silky tannins. 

Penfolds Max's Shiraz 2015

Tasting notes: On the palate, notes of red berries, cherries, and hint of oak give way to fine, powdery tannins. On the nose, a bouquet of red fruits and Christmas spices lead the way.
