This ATLAS afternoon tea experience will transport you to 1920's Europe
Cuppa tea and a bikkie?

Singaporeans love their afternoon teas. Enter the illustrious lobby lounges at some of our best 5-star hotels on any given day, and it's packed with an eclectic mix of people sipping on teas and slathering jam onto their scones. There's always something special (and undoubtedly relaxing) about chatting the afternoon away to these moreish bites.
Here's one more for the picking, for anyone who loves The Great Gatsby era, or wishes to be transported to a place where fascinators and dreams are made of. ATLAS' afternoon tea experience is set in a grand art deco lobby set out of a Wes Anderson type movie, and offers a fresh take on the traditional English tea with contemporary renditions that reference the luxury and attention to detail of the 1920s. While ATLAS is well-known for its beautiful European cuisine and creative cocktails, it's their fine teas and medley of sweet and savoury treats that are currently sending our diets out of the window.
Start off with a glass of champagne or their extensive selection of tea blends, which includes a vintage Chinese Blood Orange Pu Erh, and a Nepal-harvested Himalayan Shangri-La Gold. We also loved the Art Deco Blend, a black tea layered with gin botanicals. While other afternoon teas roll out a slew of scones and finger sandwiches, ATLAS elevates their offering with modern pleasures like a mock truffle raviolo with gorgonzola cheese, iberico jamon on crisp toast, and crab croquettes. Executive Chef Daniele Sperindio's pairing of flavours is spot on, and texture play heavenly.
If you have a sweet tooth, their salted caramel bon bons and madeleines will send you straight into dessert heaven. Its spacious, airy fit-out ensures noise levels never get too high, so if you're after long conversations or a peaceful me-time session — this is it. What's more, if you decide to rock up in a striking fascinator or flapper dress, you won't look out of place either.
The ATLAS Afternoon Tea is available from 3-5pm daily, from $52 per person. Reservations need to be made at least 48 hours in advance.
