#FirstClassFriday: Aston Martin's hypercar debuts in Singapore
Purveyors of luxury sports cars Aston Martin have unveiled the AM-RB 001 hypercar, marking its Asia debut on the eve of the Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix. A collaborative product between Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing, the AM-RB 001 symbolises the combined vision and skill of leading players of the automobile industry.
“Red Bull Racing’s partnership with Aston Martin is a unique blend of innovation and collaboration. The AM-RB 001 is the realisation of our shared vision to create something extraordinary together, and to reveal the car in Singapore, away from home for the first time, is an exciting moment,” said Christian Homer, principal of Red Bull Racing Team.
Boasting boundary-pushing performance, the AM-RB 001 is built from a lightweight carbon fibre structure, ensuring unmatched aerodynamics and levels of downforce for a road-legal car. Now highly coveted since its announcement at the Melbourne Grand Prix earlier this year, this state-of-the-art vehicle has been met with unparalleled hype. Representing the pinnacle of motoring innovation, the AM-RB 001 houses a V12 engine while offering comfort and space for both driver and passenger. This is all thanks to the design experts over at Red Bull Racing, who have lent their unrivalled knowledge to craft a high-revving bespoke machine.
The AM-RB 001 will be hand-built in a purpose-built facility specially created for Aston Martin’s Special Projects. Keep your eyes peeled as further technical specifications of the AM-RB 001 will be released in due course. Deliveries of the car will commence in 2019.
