The best street style from New York Men's Fashion Week SS18

Boy, oh boy

Setting the scene at the final leg of Men's Fashion Week are the style magnets of New York City

What: New York Fashion Week: Men's spring 2018
Where: Manhattan, New York City
When: 10 - 13 July 2017

DAY 4: IT'S A STRETCH
It's not every day you come across a fashion diet as forgiving as this that when you do, it only seems appropriate to milk the heck out of it. This summer, that trend is cotton pants. And not just any cotton pants, but those able to conceal a multitude of sins. Whether you're hungry for the rubber band sort or drawstrings are more your bread and butter, we're stowing all judgement. Just one thing: They come with an expiration date.

Steer clear of the #iwokeuplikethis suggestion. A blouse (or a button down) lends your PJs purpose.

Next stop on the athleisure tour: The boxing arena.

Our first rule applies, even on sweatpants. Especially on sweatpants.

DAY 3: THE LONG AND SHORT OF IT
Hell hath no fury like a New York summer, the heat unlike our local humidity is of the searing variety. As the temperature rises, the shorts come out to play. Here, three looks which demonstrate how the habit of canning the pants stretches beyond the Sunday brunch and bubbly.

DAY 2: DO IT YOURSELF
There's a certain satisfaction derived from redesigning old clothes and giving it new life — especially if you do it yourself. Here, glean ideas from New York's best on craft projects that'll let your creative juices flow this summer.

DAY 1: THROWING SHADE
There are sunglasses and there are sunglasses. These are the latter. Not to be outshined by their peers across the pond, the men in 'Murica look to fashion's decade du jour — the '90s — for shades so sick, the Kurt Cobains, Justin Timberlakes and No Doubts of yesterday would feel the burn. Watch and learn.

Nothing says, "I live for the 90s" like a rainbow visor worn with a printed silk shirt.

We've never seen a pair of Barbie-meets-Ken quite like this. Ace!

Black, frameless and narrow from all angles, these Matrix-esque sunnies are for those serious about throwbacks.
