If you happen to be in Tokyo for the holidays, drop by Versace's newly opened boutique and indulge in a unique shopping experience. The luxury fashion house is now available in Tokyo's upscale shopping district Ginza. A space where past meets future, the new boutique is a seamless synchronisation of traditional Italian architecture and the house's dynamic energy. Spanning three stories, the impressive new location is home to the brand's ready-to-wear collections and accessories for both menwear and womenswear.
An amalgamation of Donatella Versace's vision and the expertise of architect Jamie Fobert, the store is a paragon of the brand's image. Ornate mosaic floors inspired by 19th century Byzantine churches form circular pathways that lead visitors across the store. The traditional tiling is set against pristine perspex walls and futuristic "floating" shelves. Metallic accents run throughout the interior, emphasising Versace's signature bold aesthetic.
"In fulfilling this project, Jamie Fobert has created a space in which the new Versace spirit can take flight. For me, the boutique suggests an uninterrupted dialogue between our past and our future, between me and Jamie Fobert and obviously between Versace and our clients", said Donatella Versace.
Versace's new boutique is located at 6-7-12 Ginza Chuo-Ku Tokyo, Japan.
