It’s no secret jewellery is the unofficial token of amour and devotion. Inspired by the universal message of romance, Thomas Sabo’s sterling silver autumn/winter 2016 collection offers a lineup of filigree gemstones and eye-catching arm candy.
“Items of jewellery represent the most intimate, human feelings: It is love, personal happiness and those special moments in life that we find reflected in an item of jewellery, wishing to wear them very close to us,” says creative director Susanne Kölbli on the inspiration behind the line.
A liaison of tender moments, tokens of love, and dazzling precision, the collection delivers an urban coolness with Egyptian-inspired aesthetics, borrowing motifs such as the Eye of Horus, which represents protection, royal power, and good health.
This new season beckons an expansion of the German brand’s engraving possibilities — the customisation service now includes the Love Bands range of rings and Love Coins line of pendants. Also a first for the label, signature pieces such as eternity rings and solitaires will receive diamond upgrades, elevating their role as sentimental keepsakes.
The Thomas Sabo autumn/winter 2016 collection is available at Raffles City, Ion Orchard, Parkway Parade, VivoCity, and Takashimaya Department Store.
