At a night as prestigious as the Golden Globes where cinema and television's most outstanding talents are honoured, the red carpet usually draws out the top tier of shimmering ensembles from the season's fashion collections. In Buro's pick of the affair's best dressed however, we take our hats off to those who bucked the trend, standing out from the routine — albeit immaculate — dress code of the award show as a result.
Props to Taylor Schilling for doing away with the gown and donning a plunging jumpsuit. And, double props for making it through the night without an unfortunate nip slip. Kirsten Dunst and Jaimie Alexander impressed with their sultry best by balancing out form-fitting revealing tops with sweeping hems; while Corinne Foxx — Miss Golden Globe 2016 — effused pure radiance in a whimsical tulle confection.
See below for the entourage of gutsy ensembles.
