Exclusive shopping preview: Oscar de la Renta x The Outnet tribute collection
48 hours sale access
Just two years ago, the industry mourned the lost of an extraordinary legend. Two years on, the fashion world still lovingly remembers the contribution and impact the New York-based Dominican designer had on the industry and women all over.
Known for his feminine and elegant creations, de la Renta has had the honour of dressing the likes of first ladies and A-list celebrities (both young and old). The Outnet pays tribute to the legendary designer with the special release of 50 carefully curated pieces that includes the designer's iconic styles from previous seasons as well as three runway looks from his last SS15 show — reissued for fans looking for a second chance at holding on to his legacy.
"It's very special to bring an exclusive selection of Oscar de la Renta's collection to our customers. This curation includes pieces from his SS15 runway and some of our all-time favourite silhouettes and fabrics including sharp tailoring, feminine prints and beautiful silk blouses. We think it is an assortment that perfectly represents Mr De La Renta's legacy", says Shira Suveyke, The Outnet's executive vice president for merchandise, buying and planning.
Just for our Buro readers, The Outnet is extending an exclusive 48 hours access to the sale a week before the worldwide release on 23 February.
Access to the preview starts tomorrow (16 February) at 5pm. For a sneak peek of what's to come, scroll through the gallery below. To be the first to view and shop the collection when the exclusive sale goes live, simply click here.
