#OnceAndForever: A Chanel short film

That’s so Coco

Titled Once and Forever, Karl Lagerfeld’s film is a lively portrayal of Coco Chanel through the decades

Chanel designer and creative director Karl Lagerfeld is not known for creating straightforward images of his late predecessor; this one is no exception. Set in modern day Paris, the dynamic piece aptly revolves around a film production depicting Coco Chanel.

From costume fittings and script readings to screen tests, settings from the film take place behind the scenes of a fictional shoot. Chanel's latest muse Kristen Stewart stars alongside acting veteran Geraldine Chaplin, both playing actresses preparing for the role of Gabrielle Chanel in different ages. Intrigued yet?

It may be Stewart's first attempt at slipping into the late icon's skin, but Karl Lagerfeld has faith. The androgynous beauty and our woman crush is also the face of Chanel's Paris-Rome 2015/16 Métiers d'art Collection. With numerous of the house's campaigns already in her repertoire, we're sure she will not disappoint.

Once and Forever, Chanel

Once and Forever was released as prelude to Chanel's Paris-Rome 2015/16 Métiers d'art Collection presentation.
