Check it: The new Adidas Originals = Pharrell Williams 'Pink Beach' collection
With Pharrell Williams being no stranger to the Three Stripes gang, it should come as no surprise that the two have partnered up again for yet another collaboration. In the celebration of summer, Pharrell's passion for the arts, music and fashion, comes to life in the latest Adidas Originals = Pharrell Williams 'Pink Beach' SS16 collection of vibrant sportswear and sneakers.
Characterised by a slew of colourful prints, inspired by Island forrests, and hypnotic doodles and words created by Pharrell himself, the 'Pink Beach' collection for ladies includes printed bikinis and an 'Artist Poncho' fashioned from water-resistant laminated mesh, emblazoned with the iconic three-stripe motif. Other garments feature the 528HZ frequency print — also known as the "LOVE frequency" that is central to the "musical mathematical matrix of creation" — which is close to the artist's heart. For the guys, there are a selection of shirts, shorts, varsity jackets, and the trefoil tee to choose from. And Pharrell hasn't forgotten about the kids either. The children's collection features illustrations and icons from the mainline downsized for your 'mini-me'.
No outfit is ever complete without footwear. In decidedly cooler tones than before, the Elastic Slip On and Elastic Lace Up sneakers are now available in bright sky blue and sand grey. These latest kicks mixes the spirit of Adidas Originals with Pharrell's quirk, and features patched-tape uppers, moulded nubuck heels, and hyper-colour shoe liners that features a psychedelic anatomical drawing of the human foot.
The Adidas Originals = Pharrell Williams ‘Pink Beach' collection is available at the Adidas online store and Originals retailers from 12 May.
