Michael Kors has unveiled a new pop-up shop located in the heart of Manhattan, a first-time venture for the brand. The pop-up will feature monthly themes which will be personally handpicked by the man himself. Kicking off with School of Sport as the inaugural theme, it’s clear Kors knows the importance of timeliness, considering the recent Olympic frenzy.
“We are always thinking of new ways to better serve our most loyal customers and The Kors Edit is a great way to tap into what we’re most excited about at Michael Kors right now,” says Kors. “The Bleecker Street store is like my lab where the newest ideas, concepts and personalised points of view will come to life. I specifically wanted to create this kind of innovative shopping space downtown, on Bleecker, which has always been a culturally rich hot spot in the city.”
The Kors Edit will provide a boutique-like shopping environment, serving up of-the-moment trends in the form of curated products and content. A physicalised space for Kors to locate the latest styles, the pop-up caters to the ever-changing demands of his consumer base. Celebrating creativity and the spirit of spontaneity, the gallery-like setting panders to the modern customer mindset.
The Kors Edit pop-up is now open, and is located on 384 Bleecker Street, New York.
